FCS is a charitable organisation that relies solely on contributions generated by concerts throughout Kent. The proceeds from the concerts help to maintain the running of the choir so we are able to give performances in aid of other local charities - such as Demelza House Children’s Hospice.

We usually present three main concerts a year - in the spring, autumn and at Christmas - and often get involved in other events and performances locally. We're lucky to be able to work with soloists and instrumentalists in different events. Our regular appearances include singing at the Chapel adjoining the Faversham Alms Houses and St Mary's of Charity Parish Church in Faversham during the Christmas period. A roaming band of carollers brings a Christmas spirit to the town and the railway station - where we sing to returning commuters. Fund raising occasions, such as our wine and wisdom quiz evenings, are held during the year to help with the FCS's finances.
