Our repertoire of choral music for spring events include Vaughan Williams, Elgar, Britten and Parry and more.
The choir recently took part in a new large-scale project, and contemporary composition called WATERWAYS. This unique collaboration brought together local choirs and singing groups to explore how the small settlement of Faversham grew at the the head of a navigable creek - and celebrated how boatbuilding, brewing, brickmaking and even gunpowder all flourished. The event was a journey of discovery from Faversham’s grand Victorian station, through the medieval centre of town to the bleak beauty of the Kent marshes. Sound and music, text and visuals fused to create a spectacular event on 29th February.
